Which local bus do you need for your destination?

You can choose between circular route C and daytime routes 01–08, depending on the neighbourhood or facility you are heading to.

Check the stops along the route to work out exactly where to board and get off.

Circular route C and daytime routes 01–08

Circular route C connects with the bus station, the sports centre and the Acequión Health Centre.

Check the order of its stops to choose the most convenient boarding point.

For other journeys, check routes numbered 01 to 08. Use the current Avanza Torrevieja map and open the information page for the route that serves your destination.

Journeys to La Mata, neighbourhoods and shopping centres

To reach La Mata, check routes 07 and 08, which approach via different corridors.

Choose according to your starting point and the stop nearest to your destination address.

If you are going to shopping centres or La Siesta Health Centre, check routes 04 and 05. For Los Altos, Punta Prima and Rocío del Mar, check route 01; for Los Balcones and Lago Jardín, route 02.

How to distinguish between connections to the University Hospital and Quirón

If you have an appointment at Torrevieja University Hospital, check routes 01, 02 and 03. Route 03 follows the Gregorio Marañón–Desiderio Rodríguez–Mar Azul–Hospital corridor.

For Quirón Hospital, check route 06, which also serves the sports centre and La Mata Health Centre.

Confirm the name of the facility on your appointment details: the University Hospital is public and Quirón is private.

How do you check timetables and plan your journey?

Consult the Avanza Torrevieja service information portal for the specific date of your journey.

Check the return journey too, especially if you are coming back at night.

Checking the route, stop and direction

Open your chosen route and locate your departure and destination stops.

Check the direction shown before heading to the bus shelter.

Prepare for your journey with these steps:

  1. Identify the stop nearest to your address.
  2. Check that your destination comes after the stop where you board.
  3. Check the timetable that applies on that day.
  4. Save the information for your return journey.

Seasonal changes and the operating calendar for night routes N1–N3

To travel at night, check routes N1–N3 and their operating calendar.

Check both the days of operation and the last departures.

Bear in mind that the high-season timetables announced by the council apply to July, August and Holy Week.

For a journey in October or at another time of year, use the service information for your date.

Where is the bus station?

You will find the main pedestrian entrance to the bus station at calle del Mar, 40 .

If you are arriving on foot or looking for the passenger entrance, use this address.
