Privacy for the English newsletter
This information applies to the separate English newsletter from Torrevieja Diario. We use your email address, with your consent, to send local news and useful plans twice a week: Mondays at 08:00 and Thursdays at 18:00 (Europe/Madrid).
Confirmation comes first
We send an email asking you to confirm your address. You do not join this audience unless you click its confirmation link. Signing up here does not subscribe you to the Spanish newsletter.
Who manages your information
The Torrevieja Diario editorial team manages the newsletter. Contact us at [email protected] about the service or your data protection rights.
Provider and security
Emailit processes your email address and technical information needed for confirmation, delivery and unsubscribing. See Emailit’s privacy policy.
Our private server logs retain a protected hash of your email, the consent wording and version, the date and technical outcome for up to 90 days, not your full email address. Abuse prevention uses a protected IP hash and counters that expire within 24 hours. A necessary security cookie lasts 15 minutes; it is not used for advertising.
Your choice and rights
Your address remains with the mailing provider while you subscribe. After you unsubscribe, information needed to honour your choice and suppress further campaigns may be retained. You can withdraw consent using the management or unsubscribe links in our emails. Emailit’s unsubscribe action may affect other lists in the same sending workspace.
You can request access, correction or deletion and exercise other data protection rights by emailing the editorial team. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
