The Playa Flamenca esplanade will host the Red Cross’s second charity morning in Orihuela Costa on 14 November, combining exercise sessions, children’s activities and a raffle featuring gifts donated by local supporters.

The event takes place at Calle Los Nardos, number 4, and begins at 09:30 with a fitboxing session, which combines fitness exercises with boxing.

The invitation is aimed at families, older people, adults and young people who would like to join the activities and support the humanitarian organisation’s work.

Exercise from 09:30 and workshops for children

Following the fitboxing session, a Pilates class led by professionals is scheduled to begin at 10:00.

At 10:30, the programme moves on to a ropes activity designed to encourage participation across different age groups and promote teamwork.

The exercise programme continues at 11:00 with a Zumba masterclass, bringing music and movement to the charity morning in Playa Flamenca.

Children’s workshops will run throughout the morning and will be free, with activities intended to provide fun and encourage creativity among younger participants.

The Red Cross will also set up an information stand staffed by volunteers, who will offer activities for children during the event.

The raffle concludes the programme at noon

The main charity raffle is scheduled for 12:00 and will feature gifts donated by shops, businesses and other organisations supporting the event.

All money raised will go directly to the Red Cross, which runs projects supporting children in vulnerable situations and working to improve their quality of life and opportunities.

Instructors will collaborate with the organisation to deliver the workshops, recreational activities and exercise sessions planned for this second edition of the charity event.

The practical recommendation for anyone taking part is to wear comfortable clothes and bring water; those wishing to join the Pilates workshop should also bring an exercise mat.

The event therefore brings exercise for different age groups, activities for children and fundraising linked to support for vulnerable children together in a single location on Orihuela Costa.

The Red Cross’s mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering, protect life and health and uphold respect for people, working with public and private organisations.
