Representatives of Torrevieja’s Carnival groups will visit IFA Alicante on Saturday 7 November to promote the celebration at Expofiesta 2026.
The tourism department will attend the fair from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November, with the town’s main festivities and traditions at the heart of Torrevieja’s presence.
Coach for Carnival representatives
The council has arranged a 55-seat coach to help the Carnival groups’ representatives travel to the event.
Departure from Torrevieja is scheduled for 15:00 on Saturday; for the return journey, the coach will leave the exhibition centre at 22:00.
Festivities as a visitor attraction
The groups’ participation will introduce Carnival to visitors at the fair and showcase the work that local associations put into costumes and parades.
The council’s promotion will present festivities as part of Torrevieja’s tourism offer, linking local customs with opportunities to visit the town at different times of year.
The initiative is co-funded by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana under the cooperation agreement to promote tourism products of interest to Torrevieja.
