Torrevieja has put its 2027 Three Kings parade contract out to tender with a maximum budget of €296,725.75, including VAT, to organise celebrations in the town centre and La Mata.
The amount is around 25% above the €237,258 cost of the 2026 edition; it is not yet the contract award price, which may be lower than the tender budget.
The deadline for bids is 18 November at 23:59, under contract reference 130760/2026.
Seven floats across Torrevieja and La Mata
The main parade provides for five electric floats that will move without towing vehicles: three for Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar, one for the Nativity scene and another dedicated to the Star.
La Mata will have two electric floats of its own: one carrying all three Kings and a second for their pages.
The contract provides for lighting and sound on the floats, alongside live music, dance and entertainment during the parades.
Arrival by sea and activities beside the church
The planned programme includes the Kings’ arrival by sea at Torrevieja harbour on 5 January, with a welcome near the Hombre del Mar monument.
A reception camp is planned outside the Church of the Immaculate Conception on 3 and 4 January; on 5 January, the same area will host a Nativity scene.
The entertainment package includes the show Fantasía onírica, with at least 25 performers, eight stilt walkers, four dance groups and three bands of at least 15 musicians each.
The new contract allows for a possible extension of the organisation to 2028.
