Torrevieja council announced the opening of its new Municipal Housing Office on 15 October. The service provides information, guidance and advice on accessing housing, public housing and rental-related resources. It is located on Caballero de Rodas, at the corner with Clemente Gosálvez.
Refurbishing the premises
The refurbishment involved an investment of €199,423. According to the council’s description, the building has capacity for nineteen workstations, meeting rooms and public service areas. This describes the service’s facilities; it is not an announcement of nineteen job vacancies.
Planned support, not an open application window
Before the end of the year, the council plans to announce grants contributing to young people’s rental costs for 2026. The office will provide information and process applications when the call is published. Opening the service does not mean these grants can already be applied for: eligibility, dates and documents must be checked against the official rules.
