Torrevieja’s Nos Vamos de Tapas trail will run from 5 to 8 and 12 to 15 November, with 18 participating venues offering a tapa and a drink for €4.
The Torrevieja and District Hospitality Business Association (AEHTC) is organising this 13th edition, allowing the public to try venues’ creations over two successive Thursday-to-Sunday periods.
Professional competition and public trail
The association has also held the third Nos Vamos de Tapas Competition at Torrevieja’s CdT, with entries in the Best Traditional Tapa and Best Innovative Tapa categories.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 17 November at an event at the CdT, so the public trail will start before the awards announcement.
The competition jury comprised Alicia Arenas, David Ariza, Salvador Payá Sanchís, Lucica Loliceru and Graham Knight.
The event has the backing of Mahou as official supplier and will include prize draws for participants.
The 18 participating venues
The list includes Jax Torrevieja, Restaurante Bianco, Restaurante Luz de Mar, Güest Restaurante Gastrobar, Restaurante La Diba and El Teatro Food & Coffee.
Also taking part are Mat’s Burger, Bar Po Rom Pom Pom, Food & Bakehouse by PJ, HB Torrevieja, Luna Creciente Gastrobar and Restaurante El Floridita.
Queens Grill, Restaurante Martinis, Restaurante El Rincón, El Chiringuito La Mar de Bien, La Mar de Bien and Foodline La Mata complete the trail.
