Torrevieja’s Vista Alegre promenade will host the Mercado Marinero from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026, with music, pirate characters, street parades, fire performances and juggling shows.
The initiative involves the council’s Commerce and Hospitality Department and La Fragua de Vulcano, with activities divided between an opening afternoon and two days offering both morning and afternoon programmes.
Friday: opening at 18:00
The opening takes place at 18:00 on Friday with ‘Un pirata de cuidado’ and musical entertainment; the market will remain open until 23:00.
‘El secreto de Barba Negra’ follows at 19:30, before the musical parade ‘Ecos de puertos lejanos’ at 20:30.
The ‘Fuego en la Bahía’ fire show is scheduled for 21:30, while Friday’s final musical parade will begin at 22:30.
Saturday: characters, music and juggling
On Saturday 24 October, the market opens at 11:00, with the first parade, ‘Secretos del océano’, starting at 11:30.
The morning continues with ‘Un pirata a la deriva’ at 12:00, ‘La banda del capitán’ at 13:00 and ‘¡A la vista, tierra!’ at 13:30, before the break at 14:00.
The afternoon programme resumes at 18:00 with ‘El viajero del tiempo’, followed by ‘Son de mareas’ at 18:30 and ‘Un náufrago perdido’ at 19:30.
‘Ecos de puertos lejanos’ returns at 20:30, ahead of ‘Malabares y fuego con un pirata pata malo’ at 21:30; another parade follows at 22:30, with closing time at 23:00.
Sunday: musical farewell and closing at 22:00
On Sunday 25 October, the market opens at 11:00, with ‘Son de mareas’ at 12:00 and ‘Secretos del océano’ at 13:30; the midday break will again start at 14:00.
In the afternoon, ‘A ritmo de marea’ is scheduled for 18:00 and ‘Los misterios del mar’ for 19:30, both as musical street parades.
The farewell parade begins at 20:45, but the market itself will close at 22:00, an hour earlier than on Friday and Saturday.
