Sociedad Musical Ciudad de Torrevieja “Los Salerosos” will give its concert in honour of Saint Cecilia on Sunday 15 November 2026, at 19:00, at Torrevieja’s Municipal Theatre.

Tickets are already available for €3 and can be purchased at the theatre box office or through the official Cultura Torrevieja portal, the two sales channels announced for this performance.

Alejandro Gómez will conduct the band in an event dedicated to the patron saint of music and musicians, forming part of the Torrevieja musical society’s cultural activities.

Pasodobles, zarzuela and marches

The announced repertoire will bring together pasodobles, a selection of works by major international composers and pieces from popular tradition, in a programme combining different strands of band music.

There will also be excerpts from zarzuela and marches, two of the genres included in the presentation of this tribute to Saint Cecilia alongside the planned pasodobles.

The event is conceived as an evening of live music for Municipal Theatre audiences and a celebration of the musical heritage associated with the local band.

The concert has the support of Torrevieja Town Council, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura Joaquín Chapaprieta Torregrosa and AGAMED, which are named among the event’s sponsors.

Another appearance for the band this Sunday

Before November’s tribute, Los Salerosos are also scheduled to take part in the opening parade for the world angling championships, planned for Sunday 25 October in Torrevieja.

The procession will start at 17:00 in Plaza del Ayuntamiento and travel along Ramón Gallud, Azorín, Paseo Vista Alegre and Clemente Gosálvez before reaching the Municipal Theatre.

Members of the Daimana carnival group and volunteers from Club Náutico Marina Internacional are also expected to join the route, with the volunteers carrying flags of the participating nations.

After the parade, the championships’ official opening ceremony will begin at 17:30 in the Municipal Theatre, with institutional speeches and a performance by Sette Vocci.

The October parade and the Saint Cecilia concert are separate events: the performance for which tickets cost €3 takes place on Sunday 15 November at 19:00 in the theatre.
