Orihuela’s Santas Justa y Rufina Moors and Christians festival association, AMYCO, has announced the parade rows and row leaders recognised for their participation in the 2026 processions.

The list is presented in random order: the final podium positions and overall winners will be revealed during the Medio Año Festero, the festival’s half-year celebrations.

The association has also awarded the Caballeros Templarios comparsa the 2026 Retreta Festera prize for its circus-themed contribution to the Reconquista festivities’ retreta parade.

Recognised rows from the Moorish side

The men’s category includes the fourth row Tariq from Moros Negros Egipcios, the eighth Al-Ghürilaa from Moros Realistas and the first Los Karis from Moros Nazaríes de Abén-Humeya.

The women’s rows recognised are the tenth Al-Kaö from Moros Realistas, the sixth Kiyá from Moros Negros Egipcios and the fifth Samiras from Moros Bedawíes.

In the mixed category, the distinction goes to Moros Bedawíes’ seventh row, Altayyir.

The Moorish side’s award-winning male row leaders are Javier López Fabregat, Francisco García Muñoz and José Luis García Peral; the female leaders are Ana Belén Navarro Pina, Mari Luz Pomares and Paula Rocamora Román.

Distinctions for the Christian side

The men’s rows recognised are the fourth Herodi from Caballeros de Santiago, the third Cruzados de Cristo from Seguidores de Arún y Ruidoms and the fifth Bandoleros del Alba from Contrabandistas.

The women’s category features Contrabandistas’ eighth row Navajeras, Caballeros del Oriol’s eighth row Guerreras del Oriol and Caballeros de Santiago’s third row IriaFlavia.

Contrabandistas’ second row, Bandoleros de la Vega, receives the distinction in the mixed category.

The male row leaders recognised are Manuel Mira Juan, José Andrés Bo Mortes and Fernando López López; the female leaders are Mari Carmen Gálvez Novelda, Conchi Balaguer Cabrera and Verónica Reig Giménez.

The announcement identifies the parade groups and their leaders selected on both sides, while the final order of the awards remains reserved for the forthcoming Medio Año Festero gathering.
