Benidorm will launch the Poniente Live concert series in July and August 2027, with El Barrio and Antoñito Molina as its first confirmed artists and tickets already on sale.
SkyFest Benidorm, at the Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor sports complex, will host the inaugural edition, with further names to be added to the programme over the coming weeks.
El Barrio on 16 July; Antoñito Molina on 31 July
El Barrio will perform on 16 July 2027 as part of ‘30’, the tour with which José Luis Figuereo is celebrating three decades on stage.
The career figures released with the announcement include more than three million records sold, 14 studio albums, six gold records, 15 platinum records and more than 600 concerts.
The second confirmed date is 31 July 2027, when Antoñito Molina will bring his new ‘Destino Felicidad’ tour to Benidorm.
The Cádiz singer’s project looks back to his beginnings, when, at the age of 14, he would take a guitar to the roof terrace of his parents’ home and play with just three chords.
That return to his earliest dreams provides the thread for a musical project built around rediscovering happiness through music.
A summer series with further announcements to come
The initiative is promoted by Disparate Entertainment, whose chief executive, José Luis Iravedra, envisages a programme spanning different styles and intended to continue beyond its first edition.
The promoter presents Poniente Live as a new option for audiences from the surrounding area and for people visiting Benidorm on holiday, with live music at its heart.
The two announced concerts are the first confirmed bookings, rather than the complete programme for July and August. The organisers plan to reveal the remaining proposals over the coming weeks.
The series has institutional support from the Generalitat Valenciana, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, Actitud Mediterránea, Mediterranew Musix, Alicante’s provincial council, Costa Blanca and FOTUR.
