Runners in Pilar de la Horadada’s half marathon, 10K and 5K can collect their race numbers from Thursday 5 November at the indoor heated pool in the municipal sports centre.

The timetable released by the council on 4 November provides three collection days ahead of Sunday’s races: Thursday and Friday, with morning and afternoon sessions, and Saturday morning only.

Race-number collection times

On Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November, collection will run from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00. On Saturday 7 November, the announced opening hours are 09:00 to 13:00.

Race numbers can also be collected in the starting area until 30 minutes before the race begins. The organisers recommend collecting in advance to avoid a last-minute rush.

The regulations require runners to present their DNI at collection. Anyone collecting another runner’s number must provide the completed collection authorisation and a photocopy or presentation of both people’s DNI documents.

Sunday 8 November, starting at 09:30

The event organised by the council’s sports department takes place on 8 November, starting at 09:30 in Calle Mayor and finishing in Plaza de la Iglesia in Pilar de la Horadada.

The programme combines the half marathon with 10-kilometre and 5-kilometre races. The urban course involves two laps for the half marathon and one lap for each of the other two distances.

The disposable timing chip is incorporated into the race number, which must stay in place throughout the race so runners can be recorded at the checkpoints along the course.

Registration closed on Tuesday 3 November at 23:59, and the regulations do not allow new entries on race day. The announced collection arrangements therefore apply to runners who are already registered.

Planned facilities include showers at the municipal sports centre, portable toilets in the start and finish area, and a bag-drop facility near the start where runners can leave belongings and collect them after finishing.
