Torrevieja Town Council will open applications on Wednesday 28 October for 13 Auxiliar de Administración General posts, to be filled through an open competitive examination.
Applications can be submitted until 24 November 2026, with both dates included, according to the Human Resources timetable following publication of the notice in Spain’s Official State Gazette this Tuesday.
ESO qualification and one reserved post
These are permanent civil service posts in subgroup C2, included in the public employment offers for 2023, 2024 and 2025, with Spain’s Graduado en Educación Secundaria Obligatoria qualification, or an equivalent, required for entry.
One of the 13 posts is reserved for people with disabilities or functional diversity; applicants must provide evidence of a recognised disability of at least 33% and compatibility with the duties of the post.
Other requirements include being at least 16, not exceeding compulsory retirement age and meeting the nationality, capacity and eligibility conditions established in the recruitment rules.
Electronic application and a €40 examination fee
Applications must be submitted electronically through the municipal register, using the specific SEL47 form available on the council’s electronic office and a method of identification accepted by the procedure.
The rules require proof of the academic qualification to accompany the application and, for the reserved entry route, documentation confirming disability and compatibility with the post.
The examination fee is €40, paid within the online application process by bank card or Bizum, with the reductions set out in the rules available to applicants who demonstrate that they qualify.
Two compulsory qualifying examinations
The selection process consists of two examinations: the first combines a theoretical multiple-choice test of up to 50 questions with a theoretical-practical section, held consecutively in a single session.
The second sets one or more practical or theoretical-practical cases relating to the syllabus and duties of the job category; both examinations are compulsory and must be passed to remain in the process.
The recruitment process also provides for a temporary employment pool, while procedural notices will be published on the electronic office’s noticeboard and the municipal website.
