Alba Egea Moya, Laura María Cases Martínez and Yanira Berge Martínez will form Torrevieja’s Corte Salinera for 2026/2027 after a jury selected them from six candidates.
Mayor Eduardo Dolón and festivities councillor Rosario Martínez announced the names of the three women, although the allocation of the Queen and Ladies of Salt titles will be revealed on 14 November.
Proclamation at the Municipal Theatre
The gala on Saturday 14 November will take place at Torrevieja’s Municipal Theatre and will also mark the farewell of the current Queen of Salt, Daniela Gómez Navarro.
The current Ladies of Salt, Miriam Córdoba Prades and Sara Toribio Sánchez, will also conclude their term at the event.
The selection followed a gathering held over the past weekend, attended by all six candidates, the current court and the members of the jury.
Personal interviews and a range of group activities allowed the jury to get to know the participants before choosing the three members of the next court.
The festivities department has decided not to disclose the other candidates’ names so they can stand again if they wish; the jury members will be announced during the proclamation gala.
