Habaneras shopping centre has opened applications for Habaneras Impulsa, a free programme designed to improve preparation for retail work. Run with Torrevieja council, it offers ten places.
The call is aimed at people over 18. Applications can be sent to [email protected] until 20 October. The announced timetable places the selection event, called Interview Day, on 22 October, before classes begin.
The Curso de Excelencia en Punto de Venta is scheduled for 24–31 October 2026, with in-person sessions at the shopping centre itself. Its practical content is linked to retail needs and developing skills for customer service in shops.
The training is due to conclude on 31 October. A business meeting, presented as Job Marketplace, is then planned, allowing Habaneras operators to meet and interview participants about potential professional opportunities.
Centre manager Jorge Doncel links the programme to connecting local talent with businesses. The proposal combines training and business contact: the announced interviews are not confirmed job offers, and the published information provides no guarantee of employment at the end of the programme.
