Orihuela will hold its first Record Fair on 7 and 8 November 2026 at the Auditorio La Lonja. The event will bring together specialist shops, collectors and music fans, combining record buying and selling with three vinyl DJ sets. The venue will open on both days from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:30.
The fair will use indoor and outdoor spaces at La Lonja. Orihuela Council is organising this first edition through its Commerce Department, with direction and production by bailamamá Music. Commerce councillor Vicente Pina and music producer Óscar Ferrer presented the initiative on Monday 19 October.
Three sets over the weekend
The music programme will begin on Saturday 7 November at 12:00 with Vanessa Beegirl. Later that day, at 18:30, Don Gonzalo, from Granada record shop Discos Bora Bora, will take to the decks. The third set will be on Sunday 8 November at 12:00, featuring Pana Pinchadiscos, owner of La Gramola in Orihuela.
Discos Bora Bora will also have a stall. Don Gonzalo, who is from Orihuela and runs his business in Granada, is also helping to select and coordinate the shops. At the presentation, the organisers said they were still finalising the list of participating businesses.
Vinyl, CDs, cassettes and collectibles
The announced selection includes LPs, singles, maxi-singles and EPs, alongside reissues, deleted titles, second-hand records and special editions from Spain and abroad. As well as vinyl, there will be CDs and cassettes, posters, publications and other items related to music culture.
The planned genres range across rock, pop, indie, punk, soul, funk, jazz, blues, electronic music, hip-hop, metal, reggae and Spanish music. The event is aimed both at experienced collectors and at people discovering the world of records for the first time.
As an additional attraction, La Alacena de la Vega will run a stall selling local food products throughout Saturday and on Sunday morning. The organisers are also working on displays with graphic elements and references to the history of records and the development of recording and playback formats.
The Commerce Department sees the fair as a way to attract visitors and encourage shopping at local businesses. Ferrer, meanwhile, highlighted the aim of bringing different generations together through music and the exchange of experiences among enthusiasts.
