TM Grupo Inmobiliario has announced a €73 million investment in Lagos de Covadonga, a new residential development within Lagoons Village by TM in Torrevieja, which will provide 239 homes.

The scheme will occupy more than 39,000 square metres, and its commercial launch follows the sale of almost all the homes in Laguna Rosa, the first development in the complex, according to the company.

The planned homes will have one, two or three bedrooms, one or two bathrooms and an included parking space, as part of the accommodation announced for this new phase.

Communal areas and sports club

The project includes swimming pools for adults and children, heated hot tubs, children’s play areas and gardens with an ornamental lake, fountains and pedestrian routes linking the communal spaces.

The facilities at Lagoons Village will also include the Sport & Wellness Club, an exclusive centre for the complex, with a gym, heated swimming pools, a spa and sports courts.

The club will also provide changing rooms and coworking spaces, according to the description of the planned facilities, combining provision for sport, wellbeing and working remotely.

The developer identifies La Mata beach, the Torrevieja and La Mata lagoons, shops, schools and healthcare services among the surrounding area’s attractions and amenities.

One phase of a larger development

Lagos de Covadonga is part of a wider project envisaging 1,800 homes across eleven phases, with a total planned investment of €375 million for the overall development.

The full Lagoons Village site covers 264,000 square metres between the Rosa and La Mata lagoons, with plans for new avenues, green spaces and improvements to local urban connections.

Pablo Serna, chief executive of TM Grupo Inmobiliario, links progress on the new phases to Laguna Rosa’s commercial reception and the company’s growth on the Costa Blanca.

The figures refer to two different scales: €73 million and 239 homes concern Lagos de Covadonga, while €375 million and 1,800 homes concern the planned development as a whole.
