Torrevieja Carnival introduced its three representatives-elect for 2027 at a celebration on the Bianco Sea Emotion terrace on 17 October. Carnival group members, association officials and council representatives attended.
Irene Carazo Pinilla, from No Ni Ná, was introduced as the children’s representative; Ares Franco Clemente, from Ciudad del Mar, as king; and Andrea Hernández González, from Agüica Salá, as senior queen. Francisco Reyes hosted the presentation of the videos and representatives.
The three received symbolic crowns. The report distinguishes this gesture from the official coronation, which remains scheduled for the run-up to Carnival. Current representatives Mía Sánchez, Iván Quesada and Laura Alberca were also recognised by those attending.
The event included the unveiling of the promotional poster, created by Olga Hernández and inspired by the previous year’s three representatives. A preview of the documentary about the 2026 Carnival was also screened. Its premiere was announced for the 2027 opening proclamation, so the full documentary has not already been shown.
Carnival Association president Francisco Pizana, vice-president César Berná Poquis and mayor Eduardo Dolón attended, along with festivities councillor Rosario Martínez and other officials. The gathering previewed the next edition rather than marking the start of its parades.
