The women’s veteran rowing team from Real Club Náutico Torrevieja finished second in the third Travesía de la Isla del Fraile, held at Club Náutico de Águilas on Sunday 1 November.
The Torrevieja rowers secured a runners-up finish in a fixed-seat rowing event away from their home town.

The team was accompanied throughout the competition day by Miguel Ángel Sánchez Valero, a coach at Real Club Náutico Torrevieja.
The appearance in Águilas continues the club’s veteran women’s competitive programme and adds a second-place finish to their sporting results.
