Altea will bring storytelling, children’s workshops and an immersive experience to its All Saints and Halloween programme, with forthcoming events on 27, 30 and 31 October and a zombie survival activity on 7 November.

The programme from the culture and youth departments is presented under the slogan ‘Espanta la por! Per Tots Sants, monstres valencians’, placing monsters from Valencian tradition at the heart of the events.

Storytelling and a party at the public library

The next event will take place at the public library at 7.30pm on 27 October: ‘Para chuparse los dedos. Canto Rodado’, with Alejandro Zaragozí.

The library will host another activity on 30 October, when the ‘Verbena Monstruosa’ with Susu Benínez is scheduled to begin at 6pm.

Both events belong to the October section of a calendar that also included ‘Sota terra’, a storytelling session with Eva Andújar advertised for 11am on 24 October at the same venue.

Workshops and an immersive experience

On 30 October, Plaça Mestre la Música will provide the setting for children’s scary-themed workshops with Projectes Educatius, running from 5pm to 8pm.

That day’s activities are therefore spread between the square, where the workshops will take place, and the public library, which will host the scheduled party.

The Centre Social d’Altea joins the calendar with ‘L’última funció’, described as an immersive experience, on both 30 and 31 October between 5pm and 11.30pm.

This event runs across two consecutive days, extending the choice beyond the children’s activities and the library session taking place on 30 October.

The programme continues in November

The calendar sets aside 7 November for ‘Love Zombis’, a zombie survival activity scheduled to run from 11pm to 4am.

The agenda thus combines storytelling, workshops and horror-themed activities across different dates, rather than concentrating all the events on the night of 31 October.
